Farm Fresh Recipes
Cooking with fresh ingredients from the farm makes every meal better. Below are some of our favorite recipes using poultry, goat meat, and seasonal vegetables available from C & C Fresh Produce.
These recipes highlight traditional Caribbean flavors and simple farm cooking that brings out the natural taste of fresh ingredients.

1. Steam Callaloo
2 bunches fresh callaloo
1 small onion (chopped)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 scotch bonnet pepper
1 tomato (diced)
1 tbsp cooking oil
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Wash callaloo thoroughly and chop into small pieces.
2. Heat oil in a pot over medium heat.
3. Add onion, garlic, and scotch bonnet pepper and sauté until fragrant.
4. Add tomato and cook for 2 minutes.
5. Add chopped callaloo and stir.
6. Cover and cook for about 8–10 minutes until tender.
7. Season with salt and pepper and serve warm.
2. Jamaican Curry Goat
2 lbs goat meat
2 tbsp curry powder
1 onion (chopped)
3 cloves garlic
1 scotch bonnet pepper
2 potatoes (cubed)
2 tbsp cooking oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
2 cups water
Instructions
1. Season goat meat with curry powder, salt, and pepper.
2. Heat oil in a pot and brown the meat.
3. Add onion, garlic, and scotch bonnet pepper.
4. Add water and simmer for about 1 hour until meat becomes tender.
5. Add potatoes and cook an additional 20 minutes.
6. Serve with rice or roti.
